Workshop | From Page to Audience | Simple techniques for confident public reading

From Page to Audience

Do you have a story, poem, speech, memoir or piece of writing you’d love to share, but the thought of reading it aloud makes you nervous?

From Page to Audience is a practical, supportive one-hour workshop designed for writers and other creatives who want to feel more confident reading their work in public. Through simple techniques and hands-on exercises, you’ll learn how to manage nerves, connect with your audience, bring meaning to your words, and make your reading engaging without needing to “perform” like an actor.

You’ll have the opportunity to practise in a welcoming environment, with encouragement and practical tips you can use straight away. Bring along a short piece of your own writing if you’d like to have a go.
